When Tara Met Farah

Tara Muvvala is managing two very different projects: a thriving food vlog and a mathematics course she is failing while trying to keep her mother pleased. Farah Ahmed, her mother's research intern, offers a possible solution. Tara proposes tutoring in exchange for an introduction to the local Bollywood dance and drama society. Farah has recently endured bereavement, a breakup and a move to the United States, and would prefer to keep her remaining plans under control. Sharing food, dancing and increasingly personal conversations complicates that intention. As their practical arrangement becomes romantic, both women must decide whether they are willing to make room for the vulnerability that a real relationship requires.
