The Midnight Moon

Peyton Watts and Logan Weaver share a holiday romance with few expectations beyond the time they have together. They exchange first names, enjoy the freedom of a temporary connection, and then return to lives that appear to have little in common. Peyton slips back into a steady, conservative circle where attorney Margot Joseph’s interest offers a more familiar possibility. Logan, meanwhile, is comfortable with a freer social life among the college crowd. When their paths cross again, the holiday is supposed to remain a pleasant memory. Instead, seeing each other in ordinary circumstances raises questions neither had to answer before. The attraction may have begun away from home, but deciding what it means now requires looking beyond their differences.
