Artist’s Dream

Cassie Parker has learned to keep her attraction to women hidden, shaped by the expectations of her father, Reverend Parker. Denial has become a familiar way of protecting her place in the family, even when it keeps her from acknowledging what she wants. Meeting Luke Winston makes that compromise increasingly difficult. Her feelings are no longer an abstract question she can push aside; they are attached to a woman she wants to know. Then her father arrives unexpectedly, bringing the conflict between desire and family loyalty into immediate focus. As Cassie considers a future with Luke, she must confront the cost of remaining silent and the possibility that choosing love will change her relationship with everything she has known.
