Merry Weihnachten

Evangeline Phillips has little reason to celebrate Christmas. Estranged from her parents, she would rather make it through the season without dwelling on what is missing. Her new neighbour Annika Mayer has the opposite problem: a temporary move from Germany to the United States has taken her away from the family traditions she loves. Friendship gives the women a reason to spend the holidays together, sharing German and American customs as they invent a celebration of their own. Flirtation grows alongside the preparations, but Annika’s uncertain future complicates the possibility of something lasting. This holiday romance follows two neighbours discovering that making room for another person can change the meaning of the season.
