Love’s Divine

Genesis Malone books a solo holiday in Barbados hoping to recover some peace after a painful divorce. Romance is not part of the plan, but meeting Zuri Baker changes the shape of her escape. Zuri appears to have a full life, yet wants the lasting companionship she has not found. Genesis’s quiet presence draws her in, even as an on-and-off girlfriend complicates the possibility of moving forward. Away from the beach, their connection must contend with work pressures and relationships that are not as finished as either would like. What began as a vacation encounter becomes a question about everyday commitment: whether two women hoping for a different future can protect it from the unfinished business of their pasts.
