The Lost Coast

Danny arrives in the California town of Tempest unsure what she is looking for. A group of queer witches known as the Grays has a more specific reason to want her there: they believe she can help find Imogen, their missing friend. Being welcomed into the group brings Danny a language for belonging, as well as feelings for fellow witch Rush. The search grows more dangerous when a dead boy is discovered among the redwoods. A. R. Capetta’s YA fantasy follows queer friendship and self-discovery through a landscape shaped by spells, fog and unfinished business, as Danny learns that finding a community also means entering its secrets.
