A Day of Fallen Night

Long before the events of The Priory of the Orange Tree, a world divided by faith and geography faces a catastrophe that will reshape its future. Tunuva, a warrior of the Priory, holds fast to her duties and her relationship with Esbar as younger members question their purpose. Elsewhere, royal expectations weigh on Glorian, while Dumai’s isolated life draws her toward a much larger struggle. When the Dreadmount erupts, the dangers these women confront can no longer remain separate. This standalone prequel brings personal loyalties, motherhood and love into an epic conflict, following people whose choices will become part of another generation’s history.
