Spear

Raised in the woods by her mother, a young woman grows up with an uncertain understanding of the wider world and a persistent sense that something awaits her beyond it. Hearing of King Artos and his court at Caer Leon gives that longing a direction. She sets out with improvised armor, a spear and abilities she is still learning to understand. Her journey brings encounters with warriors, magic and women whose attention introduces new forms of intimacy. This Arthurian reimagining follows a hero making a place for herself through choice and determination rather than a straightforward invitation into greatness. Questions of identity, love and belonging accompany the dangers of entering a legendary court.
