Six Angry Girls

Raina Petree’s senior year is unraveling: her relationship ends, her place in the drama club disappears and the future she expected begins slipping away. Millie Goodwin has her own reasons to be furious after the boys on the Mock Trial team vote her out, despite years of work helping it succeed. An unexpected meeting brings the two girls together around an idea: build a rival team and compete on their own terms. With four more recruits, they begin turning resentment into preparation, argument and solidarity. Knitting, activism and courtroom strategy intersect in a story about young women refusing to let the people who dismiss them have the final word.
