Amelia Westlake Was Never Here

Harriet Price follows the rules; Will Everhart challenges them. At their privileged private school, neither expects to become the other’s ally. But when an adult’s inappropriate conduct goes unchallenged, the two create an imaginary student, Amelia Westlake, to expose the institution’s failures. Pranks and protest give their fictional classmate a growing reputation, while keeping Amelia’s creators hidden becomes increasingly difficult. Working together also makes it harder for Harriet and Will to maintain their mutual dislike. Their campaign brings a developing romance into a story about harassment, privilege and the risks of speaking up when the people in charge would prefer that everyone stayed quiet.
