Keepers of the Cave

FBI agents CJ Johnston and Paige Riley are sent undercover to an isolated East Texas community while a larger investigation unfolds elsewhere. Their assignment at an all-girls school initially looks like a dead end, though a pattern of disappearances stretches back decades. Working in close quarters also revives the memory of the night they shared months earlier, giving them something personal to negotiate alongside their assumed roles. As they become part of the school’s daily life, unsettling behavior around Hoganville makes the mission harder to dismiss. The community’s apparent quiet conceals questions neither agent can readily answer. CJ and Paige must decide what to trust in unfamiliar surroundings while managing an attraction that threatens to complicate the professional distance their assignment seems to require.
