In the Event of Love

A public career disaster sends Los Angeles event planner Morgan Ross back to Fern Falls, the mountain town she once hoped to leave behind. Coming home means facing Rachel Reed, her former best friend and the girl behind a first kiss Morgan has never quite forgotten. Rachel now works on her family's struggling tree farm, whose survival matters to the whole community. Morgan knows how to put on a spectacular fundraiser, and saving the farm offers a practical reason to stay involved. Keeping the project professional is another matter. Between holiday preparations and the memories neither woman can neatly pack away, an attempt to repair a business begins reopening a much more personal possibility.
