Heart of Sherwood

After her father and brother die on crusade, Robyn is branded a traitor by the sheriff and forced into a different life. Disguised as a young man, she joins Little John and the outlaws of Sherwood, turning survival into resistance. Maid Marian has her own role in the struggle for power, working for Queen Eleanor and helping gather support for King Richard. Their history as childhood friends gives their reunion a significance beyond political alliance. As affection develops into romance, secrecy and duty shape what they can safely reveal. This sapphic Robin Hood retelling places the women’s relationship within a contest over loyalty, authority and the right to define their own futures.
