Double Breasted

Willodean returns to Capricorn Cove after cancer treatment, trading her city career for a chicken farm and a chance to live closer to family. The plan sounds peaceful until a fire makes clear how much she still has to learn about her new life. Firefighter Teresa Prince arrives to help and quickly becomes a far more appealing part of the move. Teresa is drawn to Willow’s humor and creativity, but past hurt has made her wary, and she senses there is more behind the sudden change of career than Willow is saying. Their attraction unfolds amid family, farmyard chaos and the vulnerable work of deciding what to share about the lives they had before.
