And Then She Kissed Me

Sadie Ireland returns to her seaside hometown for her fortieth birthday, taking a break from life as a television star. Seeing Devon Douglas again brings back a friendship that ended more than twenty years earlier, after Devon acted on a teenage crush. Devon now has a young son and responsibilities that keep her grounded in the present, but Sadie's return makes the past feel newly immediate. As they reconnect, nostalgia and attraction become difficult to separate. Sadie is drawn toward a woman she once knew closely, while Devon must reckon with an old mistake that still matters. This reunion romance explores the possibility of a different future between two people whose shared history contains both affection and hurt.
