A Good Day to Pie

Daisy's pies are not all intended to nourish their recipients. She uses a particular kind of magic to deliver deadly consequences to men who have hurt others, a secret she keeps alongside her more ordinary baking ambitions. Entering a televised competition gives her a chance at a substantial prize, provided she can fit one last delivery around filming. Discovering that its intended recipient is a judge would be complicated enough; finding him dead before her pie arrives is much worse. Someone else has committed the murder, and the resulting investigation threatens to expose Daisy's own activities. To protect her secret, she must untangle a killing she planned but did not carry out.
