The Mythic Koda Rose

Koda Rose knows her late father through the stories other people tell about him. Moving to New York brings her closer to the city where he became a famous musician, but it does not automatically make him easier to understand. Meanwhile, Koda is struggling with feelings for her best friend Lindsay and the fear of saying them aloud. Her search for answers leads to Sadie, her father’s former bandmate and girlfriend, whose complicated presence pulls Koda further into his history. As their bond intensifies, admiration and grief become difficult to separate. The novel follows a teenager seeking connection while learning how unresolved loss can shape the relationships people build around it.
