The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School

Yamilet Flores starts at a wealthy, mostly white Catholic school determined to keep her head down. After being hurt when she revealed her feelings for a girl, the seventeen-year-old would rather let her classmates make assumptions than risk being rejected again. She is also trying to protect her brother and avoid giving her mother another reason to worry. Then she meets Bo, a girl whose openness about being queer makes Yami's carefully managed secrecy harder to maintain. Friendship and attraction pull her toward a life she has been afraid to claim. Between family responsibilities, religious expectations and a new school, Yami must work out what safety and honesty can look like together.
