Cool for the Summer

Lara has spent years hoping that Chase Harding will notice her. When the football star finally begins flirting, the school year seems ready to deliver exactly the romance she imagined. There is just one complication: the summer she spent with Jasmine, a girl whose memory has become impossible to put aside. Then Jasmine arrives at Lara's school, bringing those unresolved feelings into direct contact with the life Lara thought she wanted. Friends, expectations and a long-standing crush all pull against a connection she has not yet understood. This young-adult romance follows a bisexual teenager questioning the story she has told herself about desire, without treating attraction to a boy and attraction to a girl as mutually exclusive truths.
