The Avant-Guards Vol. 1

Charlie arrives at the Georgia O'Keeffe College for Arts and Subtle Dramatics hoping to find a new place for herself, but even locating classrooms and settling into her dorm feels difficult. The last thing she wants is a return to competitive basketball, a part of her life she believes she has left behind. Liv, the captain of the college's fledgling team, is not easily discouraged. Her enthusiasm and the unlikely group around her begin to make the invitation feel less like a return to old pressures and more like a new possibility. This graphic novel follows friendship, attraction and the search for belonging through a team whose value extends well beyond winning games.
