Tell Me How You Really Feel

Sana Khan once asked Rachel Recht on a date and was rejected by a girl who thought the invitation was a cruel joke. Years of mutual misunderstanding have hardened into open dislike. Now Rachel, an aspiring filmmaker, needs the right lead for her senior project, and Sana is the person who fits. Agreeing to work together forces both girls to spend time beyond the assumptions they have carried through school. Sana's feelings have not disappeared, while Rachel's certainty about the popular cheerleader becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. Set in Los Angeles and told through both perspectives, this young-adult romantic comedy follows a film collaboration that offers a chance to revise a story neither girl understood correctly the first time.
