Spindrift

Veterinarian Morgan Donovan is recovering from the end of an engagement that exposed the strain her devotion to work placed on her relationship. Emilia Russo arrives in Seal Cove, Maine, carrying different losses: her father's death, burnout, and the collapse of her own partnership. Renovating his house is supposed to give her a summer to regroup before returning to Boston. Meeting Morgan changes the emotional shape of those plans. Their attraction offers companionship and pleasure with an apparent end date, but growing intimacy makes the arrangement less simple than either intended.
