Shifting Gears

Eleanor Cromwell arrives in rural Canada determined to complete a property development project for her father’s company. Knowing the business is unpopular locally, she keeps her identity quiet and plans to avoid distractions. A broken-down car puts mechanic Dani Cooper directly in her path. Dani’s easygoing manner is a sharp contrast to Eleanor’s tightly controlled approach to work, and their attraction offers an unexpected interruption to her plans. What begins as a summer fling starts to matter more than Eleanor intended. The secret she has been keeping, however, is tied to the very place Dani calls home. This small-town romance follows two women whose chemistry is easier to acknowledge than the consequences of the truth.
