Ophelia After All

Ophelia Rojas has always thought of herself as a girl who falls for boys. Her friends and family know the pattern of her crushes, and she is comfortable with the story they tell about her. Then quiet Talia Sanchez starts occupying more of her thoughts than an imperfect prom or an ex-boyfriend. With high school ending and friendships becoming less secure, Ophelia has little patience for another uncertainty, especially one that unsettles her sense of who she is. Keeping those feelings private does not make them simpler. As the version of her future she imagined begins to shift, she must decide how honestly she can approach her friends and herself.
