Manhunt

Beth and Fran survive along a ruined New England coast, hunting infected men to obtain the hormones they need to stay alive. The world around them has collapsed into predatory violence, but the people organizing its remnants can be equally dangerous. Joining forces with Robbie, a trans man carrying his own history of loss, gives them another chance at survival. It also draws them into fragile alliances, competing loyalties and relationships strained by fear. Armed groups hostile to trans people and wealthy survivors protecting their own comfort threaten the possibility of any safe community. This post-apocalyptic horror novel follows queer and trans protagonists confronting bodily danger, desire and the persistence of old hierarchies after the end of the familiar world.
