Love at First Set

Lizzie’s job at the gym is much more than a paycheck, even if its owners rarely treat her work with respect. Attending their daughter’s wedding as her best friend James’s guest seems manageable until an impulsive bathroom pep talk persuades the bride to leave. Lizzie has no intention of admitting her part in the disaster. When James asks her to keep his newly directionless sister Cara occupied, avoiding the consequences becomes considerably harder. Cara is appealing, vulnerable and increasingly difficult to dismiss as a brief distraction. As their connection develops, Lizzie’s attempts to protect her livelihood produce more secrets. Falling for the woman whose wedding she helped derail could cost her both the future she depends on and the relationship she wants.
