Hot Dog Girl

Lou Parker has decided this summer will be unforgettable. Her job at Magic Castle Playland gives her proximity to her crush Nick, but it also requires her to perform in a giant hot-dog costume. Nick already has a girlfriend, and Lou’s best friend Seeley is increasingly unimpressed by her matchmaking efforts and romantic schemes. When the amusement park faces closure, Lou adds saving everyone’s summer workplace to an already ambitious list of plans. The harder she tries to arrange the perfect outcome, the more complicated the people around her become. First jobs, queer attraction and changing friendship collide in a summer where Lou’s expectations need some serious revision.
