Melt With You

Fallon likes preparation and dependable plans. Chloe prefers improvisation. They once balanced each other as best friends, but a hookup before Chloe left for college and the misunderstandings that followed have left them barely speaking. Their mothers’ shared gourmet ice-cream business makes avoiding each other difficult. When an investment opportunity takes the adults away, Fallon is left responsible for a run of food-truck festivals, with Chloe the only person available to help. A road trip in close quarters forces them to revisit feelings neither has handled well. Between work demands and unexpected detours, they must decide whether their damaged friendship can become something new, even when no careful itinerary can guarantee the outcome.
