Lethal Kiss

Marcella begins a new academic position at Preston University with more to conceal than an awkward professional history. She is undead, and maintaining the appearance of an ordinary scholar requires controlling appetites that do not fit faculty life. Her attraction to fellow academic Lacie makes that performance more complicated just as a series of deaths suggests something predatory is moving through the university. Investigating the danger draws the women closer while exposing the possibility of a threat older and more powerful than Marcella anticipated. This gothic horror romance turns the competition and secrecy of academic life into a setting for hunger, suspicion and desire, with professional survival and physical safety increasingly difficult to separate.
