Holland Jaeger appears to have the life people expect of a successful high school student: a boyfriend, a leadership role and promising college prospects. Yet the future taking shape around her does not entirely feel like her own. When Cece Goddard arrives at school, Holland's attraction to the new girl makes those uncertainties impossible to ignore. Their connection brings the excitement of first love alongside difficult questions about secrecy, identity and other people's expectations.
