I Want You More

After her father's death, ghostwriter Zara Pines takes a job writing the memoir of celebrity chef Jane Bailey. The assignment brings her to Jane's East Hampton home for the summer, where professional intimacy begins to turn into something more consuming. Zara, uncertain of who she is without her father, finds comfort in Jane's confidence and carefully managed world. Soon she is borrowing more than her client's stories: clothes, habits and ways of speaking start to blur the distinction between them. As desire deepens and Jane's private self slips into view, Zara must reckon with the distance between the woman she admires and the person sharing her home.
