After the Eclipse

Cassie has never escaped the memory of the solar eclipse during which her younger sister Olive disappeared. She was supposed to be watching her, and sixteen years of uncertainty have done little to ease that responsibility. Returning to her hometown to care for her grandmother brings Cassie back into the landscape of the loss. Then another local girl vanishes as a new eclipse approaches. Cassie suspects the two disappearances are connected, but suspicion alone cannot show what happened or persuade others that the same danger has returned. Investigating the present forces her to revisit the past, with another child's safety depending on answers she has spent years without.
