A Lesson in Vengeance

After a year away following her girlfriend’s death, Felicity Morrow returns to the Dalloway School determined to finish her education and leave her fascination with the occult behind. The boarding school makes forgetting difficult: her dormitory is tied to five students whose mysterious deaths still fuel stories of witchcraft. New arrival Ellis Haley, already a successful teenage novelist, wants to investigate that history for another book. Felicity’s knowledge makes her a useful collaborator, while her attraction to Ellis makes refusing the invitation harder. As their research gathers momentum, the boundary between the school’s old stories and present dangers becomes uncertain. Felicity must confront what draws her toward Ellis, what she remembers, and what she hoped returning would allow her to escape.
