Huntress

With sunlight fading and crops failing, the human world needs answers from the realm of the Fairy Queen. Seventeen-year-olds Kaede and Taisin are chosen for a dangerous journey to her city, although their strengths could hardly be more different. Taisin’s life is shaped by magical training; Kaede has no such gift. Traveling together through a hostile landscape, they learn to depend on each other, and that dependence begins to become love. Their mission, however, may demand choices that pull them apart. Set in the world of Ash, this companion fantasy follows two young women confronting an environmental crisis, unfamiliar dangers and a future neither can determine alone.
