Sylvie Campos and Lauren Machado inherited a rivalry along with their families’ Cuban bakeries. Each household accuses the other of stealing cherished recipes, and neither woman has much reason to question the feud. Now approaching the responsibility of running their respective businesses, they keep meeting at food festivals where the work is hot and their exchanges are sharper still. Sylvie decides to uncover the truth about the Machados, only to find that the story she knows may not be the whole one. As old assumptions begin to shift, so does the tension between them.
