For the Bride

Alice is rebuilding a life she can respect, with sobriety, work in music and a repaired friendship with her ex-girlfriend Gin. Being a bridesmaid at Gin's wedding should be a happy milestone. Instead, it means working closely with Renee, a maid of honor whose long-standing dislike keeps reminding Alice of mistakes she wants to leave behind. Wedding preparations bring them together just as grief and uncertainty are making Alice's private life harder to manage. When Renee sees her at a vulnerable moment, both women begin questioning their assumptions. Their uneasy collaboration becomes an unexpected source of connection, while Alice works out how to move forward without denying who she has been.
