Blood Thinners

Mina Summers is investigating rogue vampires when her work leads her to a weight-loss company called Thinner. Getting close to the organisation is part of the assignment; becoming attracted to its vice president is not. Carma Nicks complicates an investigation that already involves dangerous questions about what the company is doing. Mina has professional boundaries to maintain and a case that cannot be allowed to drift off course, but her interest in Carma makes both responsibilities harder to manage. The closer she gets, the more difficult it becomes to keep her personal reactions separate from her search for answers about the vampires and the business.
