A Question of Ghosts

Becca Healy has carried one explanation for her mother's death since childhood. A voice emerging from radio static tells her that explanation is wrong, opening a mystery she cannot put aside. She seeks out Dr. Joanne Call, whose work with Electronic Voice Phenomenon offers a way to investigate messages from the dead. Joanne is more comfortable interpreting elusive voices than managing Becca's forceful emotions, yet the women need each other's strengths to follow the evidence. Their search brings unresolved grief into contact with the threat of a serial killer. Attraction adds another complication to an already unlikely partnership, as Becca and Jo try to distinguish the truth buried in the past from the danger still present around them.
