A Bittersweet Garden
2019
The story
Nora McNeill arrives in Ireland expecting a summer devoted to the place her grandparents once called home. Instead, the cottage she rents comes with a ghost whose presence reaches into her dreams. Local horsewoman Briana Devlin has made a satisfying life for herself and sees little reason to complicate it with a visiting American, however attractive Nora may be. Their growing closeness unfolds alongside the ghost's increasingly urgent demands for help. As Nora becomes absorbed in a death from the past, Briana begins to fear what that attachment is doing to her. A summer romance becomes entangled with a haunting that threatens the future both women might otherwise choose.
