Lyon’s Den

Journalist Joni James arrives at a Colorado wilderness retreat with the skepticism of someone accustomed to looking for the story beneath a polished pitch. The assignment takes her far from Manhattan and into the orbit of retreat owner Kendall Lyon, whose connection to the place challenges Joni's assumptions. What begins as work becomes harder to keep at a professional distance as the women spend time together. Attraction creates a conflict between the article Joni expects to produce and the person she is beginning to understand. This contemporary romance uses a change of landscape to unsettle a familiar way of seeing, asking what happens when pursuing a story makes the reporter part of it.
