Tori Hunter and Sam Kennedy head for New Mexico with Casey O’Connor and Leslie, expecting a break from police work. Their mountain vacation collides with an urgent search already underway. FBI agents Cameron Ross and Andrea Sullivan are pursuing someone from Cameron’s former Special-Ops life, a dangerous man whose recent violence has left a hostage at risk. Cameron has little appetite for involving unfamiliar officers, even experienced ones, but time is running short. The women must learn to work together across differences in approach and authority. For the couples who came seeking rest and those already on the hunt, protecting one another becomes inseparable from the demands of the case.
