Hunter's Way

Homicide detective Tori Hunter has a reputation for difficult partnerships and little interest in changing it. Samantha Kennedy arrives with a temper of her own, a demanding boyfriend, and no intention of being intimidated by her new colleague. A serial-killer investigation forces them to find a workable rhythm despite their differences. As the case grows more complicated, so does their understanding of each other. Sam begins questioning the relationship she has taken for granted, while Tori finds her usual emotional defenses less reliable around her partner. Neither can afford to let attraction distract from dangerous work. Yet maintaining a purely professional distance becomes its own challenge, particularly when the trust required on the job starts reaching into parts of their lives they have kept carefully separate.
