Aspen in Moonlight

Three inherited paintings send art historian Melissa Warren looking for answers about an artist and landscapes that have fascinated her since childhood. The search takes her to a Colorado bear conservancy, where the artist's great-granddaughter, Sula Johansen, may hold the clues she needs. Sula is reluctant to cooperate, but the attraction between them makes a clean separation difficult. Melissa sees an intriguing woman whose habits and abilities sometimes seem unusual. Sula knows there is a reason for those differences and fears what discovery would do to their developing relationship. As art, family history and desire draw them closer, the question becomes whether the truth Melissa is pursuing can include the secret Sula has built her life around protecting.
