Cadence Connolly has enough to manage without her mother announcing an engagement that seems certain to end badly. Sydney Sinclair is similarly unconvinced by her father's new plans. Although a park ranger and a pilot might not seem an obvious team, opposition to their parents' marriage gives the two women a shared project. Their attempt to prevent one romance puts them in repeated contact, and the attraction growing between them complicates every supposedly practical decision. This contemporary romantic comedy pairs family interference with an increasingly inconvenient connection. Cadence and Sydney may agree about what their parents should do, but understanding their own feelings proves far less straightforward than arranging somebody else's future.
