The Secret Summer Promise

Andrea Williams has waited long enough for a summer that feels like hers. After an earlier season spent recovering from surgery for cerebral palsy, she has a list of adventures to share with friends, from concerts and art to afternoons at the lake. There is one less enjoyable item on the agenda: stop being in love with her best friend, Hailee. Andrea is determined that her feelings will not derail the summer, even if moving on means giving a charming boy named George a chance. But a plan to manage desire is harder to follow than a list of outings. Surrounded by supportive people, Andrea must work out what she truly wants and how much she is willing to risk by admitting it.
