The Last Ferry Out

Abby travels to the remote island where her fiancée Eszter died, hoping that seeing the place will help her understand the loss. A circle of expatriates welcomes her, and one member hints that he knows something important about Eszter's final days. Before he can explain, he disappears. Abby's search for answers becomes an investigation into a community with reasons to keep its history concealed. As grief gives way to suspicion, she must decide whom to believe while recognizing that the truth about the woman she loved may place her own life in danger.
