The Athena Protocol

Jessie Archer works for Athena, a covert organization of women who pursue criminals beyond the reach of conventional justice. The group has rules, including a prohibition on killing, and Jessie breaks one of the most important during an operation. Expelled just before a major mission against a human trafficker in Belgrade, she refuses to accept that her involvement is over. Her own investigation takes her deeper into danger without the protection of the team she once relied on. Worse, those former allies have orders to stop her. As Jessie tries to prove herself and finish the mission, she must navigate threats that come from both her targets and the people who know her best.
