Spinning Tales

Maggie McShay wants more from life than the daily journey between work and an unwelcoming cat. Answering an advertisement for a caretaker at a fairy-tale cottage seems an impulsive way to make a change. It proves far more literal than she expects. Maggie discovers a hidden world and unexpected truths about herself, with reluctant shepherd and practiced flirt Kody Wilk acting as her guide. The opportunity for enchantment quickly becomes a responsibility when villains threaten to take over New York City. With Kody, a shape-shifting cat and a romantically ambitious dwarf beside her, Maggie must find her footing in a story that demands action rather than simply offering an escape from her old routine.
