Song of Serenity

Calliope Ardalides spends far more time managing disputes than inspiring music. Between quarrelling gods, dissatisfied humans and eight sisters, the eldest Muse badly needs her annual retreat to the Scottish countryside. The Temple of the Muses should provide the peace she relies on, until Jordan James arrives with construction crews and plans for an adventure park. Jordan is determined to build the future she imagines, even if a beautiful immortal objects. Calliope's usual powers of persuasion do not resolve the disagreement, and attraction makes the dispute more complicated rather than less. As their competing visions for the landscape collide, both women must decide what they are willing to change and what they cannot bear to lose.
