A Curse of Roses

Princess Yzabel’s magic turns the food she touches into flowers, leaving her hungry while famine threatens the people around her. Desperate to change her gift, she seeks help from Fatyan, an Enchanted Moura who can be freed with a kiss. Their encounter offers a possible answer to Yzabel’s predicament, but also awakens feelings that conflict with her expected marriage and the religious obligations shaping her life. Loving Fatyan could place both her future and her position at risk. Drawing on Portuguese legend, the novel follows Yzabel as she confronts the divide between what she has been taught to desire and what she needs to live.
